Notes
This was our first attempt at finding the Palawan. It did not go so well. We found the spot (according to the GPS), but by the time we got down to 130', our B-boat had drifted of the coordinates and we had so little bottom time that we just came back up without seeing the wreck. We brought a secondary rope so that we could tie off the boat to the wreck, but without seeing the wreck our boat just slowly drifted away. We dropped the anchor lines, which were around 100' down. We then tied the secondary rope to them. We still could not reach the bottom. It was very clear and to date, this was my deepest dive yet. Really cool, lots of jellyfish they were everywhere we had to watch out coming up and going down and it was a job just plain avoiding them.
